L.A. Guns feat. Phil Lewis and Tracii Guns to release new single this month + new album in spring 2019
Great news for L.A. Guns (featuring singer Phil Lewis and guitarist Tracii Guns) fans as the sleaze rockers’ new album, The Devil You Know, will be released in the spring of 2019. In addition, the first single for the new record will be released this month. L.A. Guns‘ upcoming new studio album will follow up the group’s critically acclaimed The Missing Peace, which ended up #1 on the Sleaze Roxx Readers’ Top 20 Albums of 2017.
The following message was posted on Frontiers Music Srl‘s Facebook page yesterday (with slight edits):
“Hey guys, Nick from the U.S. office checking in with a few tidbits that might be of interest to you as we get 2019 rollin’ here…
– Only through a few spins of the new L.A. Guns album, but it’s got the aggression of the self-titled debut, the swagger of “Cocked & Loaded“, & then builds upon all the elements that made “The Missing Peace” so great. And not a throwaway track to be found on it. Tracii Guns, Phil Lewis, Shane Thomas Fitzgibbon, & Johnny Martin have really outdone themselves here. Look out for the first single THIS MONTH and the album, “The Devil You Know” this spring.
– As with L.A. Guns, I’m only through a few spins of the new Crazy Lixx album, but it is at least on the same level with the last release, “Ruff Justice“, if not better. My only complaint about the album is that I am listening to it in the winter time and it is making me want to be out for a cruise with the windows down feeling the warm spring/summer air. Hahaha! Killer ’80s hard rock vibe from these very talented Swedes.
– Next week, you’ll get the debut single from The End: machine, which features George Lynch, Jeff Pilson, Mick Brown, and Robert Mason. Can’t wait to read everyone’s reactions to this killer tune.
– Next week, you’ll also get the first single from the upcoming Burning Rain album, which is a bruising bluesy hard rock stomper. Really loving what Doug Aldrich and Keith St John have come up with. And don’t forget they’ve got Brad Lang and Blas Elias as the rhythm section on this one.
– We’ll also release another live Quiet Riot track and a new Kane Roberts track (that features Nita Strauss) next week too.
We’ve got plenty of other upcoming albums to tell you about, so stay tuned. Going to be a great year for new music. Happy New Year, everybody!”
