L.A. Guns (feat. Riley and Nickels) frontman Kurt Frohlich releases video for solo single “I Can’t Pretend”
Singer Kurt Frohlich was a busy musician even before being asked to join the L.A. Guns version spearheaded by drummer Steve Riley and bassist Kelly Nickels, and which also includes guitarist Scott Griffin.
Frohlich has just released a video that was filmed by his nine-year old daughter Jayde for his new single “I Can’t Pretend.”
The following message was posted on True North Foundation‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“Canadian-born rocker Kurt Frohlich is frontman to some of Orlando’s favorite musical acts—the Spazmatics, Anti Idol, Acoustic Edge and the Hooligans. His song “I Can’t Pretend” resounds the heartache of this unprecedented season, but another story unfolds behind the scenes of this project. Kurt and his wife Kirsten are pressing on and continuing to inspire and create together with their daughter. This video was filmed entirely by nine-year-old Jayde, so be sure to give props to both Kurt and this young, emerging artist in your comments!”
In an interview with Sleaze Roxx back in April 2019, Frohlich talked about his musical work outside of L.A. Guns (feat. Riley and Nickels) as he indicated: “I didn’t start playing solo acoustic shows until I moved from Las Vegas to Orlando. I’m a full-time musician performing six days a week and play in countless projects including being part of Perfect World Entertainment, Femmes of Rock, British Rock band, Song Division and more. I just fill in the gaps playing acoustic about once a week. It keeps up your chops.”
