L.A. Guns featuring Phil Lewis and Tracii Guns to release new single “Let You Down” tomorrow

L.A. Guns featuring lead vocalist Phil Lewis and guitarist Tracii Guns along with bassist Johnny Martin, guitarist Ace Von Johnson and drummer Scot Coogan will be releasing their new single “Let You Down” tomorrow (on May 6, 2020) as per the group’s online newsletter Never Enough.

Back on April 28, 2020, Mitch Lafon indicated on the Rock Talk with Mitch Lafon podcast’s Facebook page:

“So I got to hear a new song today from L.A. Guns featuring Phil Lewis & Tracii Guns called Let You Down… and well, it’s F***ING AMAZING… ? ‬”

The timing for the new single is interesting with the other L.A. Guns version featuring drummer Steve Riley and bassist Kelly Nickels along with guitarist Scott Griffin and lead vocalists / rhythm guitarist Kurt Frohlich having just released their new single “Crawl” about two weeks ago.

While there has been a lot of lead up advertising and promotion for the single “Crawl”, there has been little promotion thus far for the new single “Let You Down” from Lewis and Guns‘ version of L.A. Guns.

Riley and Nickels‘ version of L.A. Guns are slated to release their new studio album Renegades later this year.

Both versions of L.A. Guns are embroiled in a trademark infringement court case brought by Lewis and Guns‘ version against Riley and Nickels‘ version.
