L.A. Guns featuring Steve Riley and Kelly Nickels to release new album ‘Renegades’ on November 13th

The L.A. Guns version spearheaded by drummer Steve Riley and bassist Kelly Nickels and also featuring lead guitarist Scott Griffin and lead vocalist / rhythm guitarist Kurt Frohlich will be releasing their new studio album Renegades via Golden Robot Records on November 13, 2020.

Riley‘s version of L.A. Guns is technically the continuation of the long-standing original version of the group that was first formed way back in 1983. L.A. Guns founder Tracii Guns left the band in 2002 to forge ahead as Brides of Destruction along with Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx Back in the mid to late ’90s, Guns and bandmate / band manager Riley each obtained a 50-50 stake in the group’s name. Guns eventually started his own alternate version of L.A. Guns in 2006 that he kept going until 2012 with a myriad of different lead vocalists. In 2016, Guns resurrected his alternative version of L.A. Guns with lead vocalist Phil Lewis doing double duty in both versions of the band before the singer finally elected to join Guns permanently in December 2016.
