L.A. Guns’ Former Vocalist Dilana Is Broke And Looking For Fans To Fund New Album
February 17, 2012
Former L.A Guns vocalist and Rock Star Supernova contestent Dilana Robichaux is heading back into the studio to make her long awaited next album. Dilana plans to release the album with no record labels, completely independent, and with the help of her fans through a Kickstarter fundraising drive at www.kickstarter.com/projects/dilana/dilana-her-album-her-way.
The vocalist, who fronted Tracii Guns’ version of L.A. Guns for a mere three months, states, “What I really need is your help, I really can’t do this by myself. I’m independent, I’m broke (no joke), I’m not signed to a label, but I have so much to give and so much that I’d love to share with you. I have 60 days to raise $25,000 and believe me, its nerve-wracking, I think I’m going to have many sleepless nights.”
“I believe in myself, and I believe in the songs, and I believe in you,” continues the singer. “I believe that you, the listeners and music lovers, want to hear some music from the soul, and I guarantee you that all the songs will come straight from my heart. It really is about making a record that I’ve always wanted to make… and I need your help.”
Donate and help Dilana make this album her way. There are great rewards, depending on the amount of money donated — prizes range from one of her guitars, the dress she wore on Rockstar Supernova during her Roxanne performance, you can join her in the studio for a day while she records the new album, and many more.
