Lars Ulrich Wants Metallica To Release New Album Quickly

LARS ULRICH WANTS METALLICA TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM QUICKLY:

March 19, 2008

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich is desperate to release the legendary band’s new album – fearing they’ll “f$%k it up” if they tweak it too much.

The Enter Sandman rockers are infamously fractious in the studio – as evidenced in their 2004 documentary Metallica: Some Kind Of A Monster – and have been prone to artistic differences and temper tantrums.

However, Ulrich is praying the band don’t ruin what they’ve created so far, because the self-critical drummer is pleased with the tracks they’ve laid down.

He says, “We’re just finishing up the record. We’ve got six weeks left and it should be out in September.

“I like what I’ve heard so far. I like it and I’m one of Metallica’s harshest critics. So far it feels pretty good but there’s still plenty of time to f$%k it up, so let’s see what happens.”
