Last Bullet band members reflect on final gig three days ago
Toronto based hard rockers Last Bullet consisting of lead vocalist Bryan Fontez, lead guitarist Brenden Armstrong, rhythm guitarist Michael Silva, bassist Will Shannon and drummer Christopher Galaz played their final show in front of a sold out Horseshoe Tavern on January 27, 2018.
Sleaze Roxx was there for Last Bullet‘s historic gig and stated as follows in its concert review: “I should not fail to mention how electric that the atmosphere and audience felt throughout the night. As much as I am sure that Last Bullet will remember their last gig, it will be firmly embedded in my mind as one of the greatest concerts that I have ever attended. I obviously can’t speak to how the entire audience felt but for me, the atmosphere in the audience near the stage was absolutely electrifying.”
Last Bullet rhythm guitarist Michael Silva posted the following message on his Facebook account on January 28th:
“Last night was the most perfect send off any of us could have asked for. A sold out hot and sweaty Horseshoe Tavern within 45 minutes of the doors being open, killer performances by every single band, and non stop energy in the crowd from 9pm to 2am.
With all the blood, sweat, tears, time, energy, money, and everything else that comes with being in a band, it’s easy to fall into a place where you start to question if it’s worth the struggle, and the grind. Then you get up on stage in front of an insane crowd, and everything just makes sense again, THAT is the true return on a bands “investment.” I was able to experience this time and time again over the last decade, so to every single person that came out to shows, and supported the band, Thank you for helping fuel the fire that we needed to keep the train rolling for as long as it did.

Although Last Bullet has run its course, we can rest easy knowing that we played our asses off every single time, operated at the highest possible level we could, and had SOOO much fun doing it. We’ve met so many awesome people over the years, traveled all across Canada, and played with so many musicians that we idolize and respect.
Thank you to every single person that helped create these memories, and experiences that I will cherish forever.
Never stop rocking,
– Mike“
Last Bullet drummer Christopher Galaz posted the following message on his Facebook account on January 29th:
“Who says Rock ‘N’ Roll is dead?!? All I can say is WOW ? We SOLDOUT the last show and every single person in the room was singing to every song we played until the very END. Mad props to @crownlandsmusic @hot_lips_music @readytheprince for killing it and helping us put on a stellar night ????
I want to thank every single person that helped @lastbulletmusic get to where we did. The support we received from you guys was INCREDIBLE. None of it would’ve been possible without you guys!! I will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart for all of you ❤️ I promise you that this is not the end for me, and I’m super excited to show everyone what’s to come in the near future ????? Love you all ??”
