Last Call Messiahs looking for new drummer and announce new bassist
In another surprise announcement, Last Call Messiahs have announced that they are looking for a new drummer due to the surprise departure from founding member and drummer Chuck Tipton.
In other news, Last Call Messiahs have found a replacement for bassist Stephen Blasko. Bill Jackson is now the group’s new bassist.
Three days ago, the sleaze rockers made the following announcement on their Facebook page (with slight edits):
“Raleigh, NC [North Carolina, USA] –
Due to the unexpected departure of drummer Chuck Tipton, Last Call Messiahs are currently auditioning drummers to complete the band’s lineup. Now with new bassist Bill Jackson (Dirty Remnantz, Mr. Blackwell) joining alongside lead guitarist Jeff Young and lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist Chris Clark, the Messiahs are working hard writing new material and booking shows throughout 2016. The new lineup of the band will debut on Sunday, May 1st at the inaugural “Sleazy Slimey Sunday” show at Cancun Cantina in Hanover, MD. LCM are also expected to record new material this summer for what now appears to be the bands first full length release.
For almost two years now, the band endearingly known to their fans as LCM have been tearing through the dark smoky bar circuit of NC’s capital city. Last Call Messiahs made their live debut in December 2014, released a scorching 4-song EP, played the M PreParty in Columbia, MD and then wrapped up 2015 in style playing to a full house with Kix. Imagine a guttural sonic combination of LA Guns, Faster Pussycat, Spread Eagle and Guns N’ Roses.”
