Lillian Axe part ways with lead vocalist Brian C. Jones who is writing a book and embarking on solo career

Big news in the Lillian Axe camp as the group is parting ways with its lead vocalist for the last ten years. The split is apparently an amicable one as singer Brian C. Jones is commencing a solo career and writing a book. Jones handled the lead vocals on the

following Lillian Axe albums: XI The Days Before Tomorrow (2012) and One Night In The Temple (2014).

The following message was posted on Lillian Axe‘s Facebook page earlier today:

“Hello everyone.

On behalf of the band, I would like to make an announcement concerning some changes in our organization. We have mutually agreed that we will be going on different paths with our singer Brian after ten great years of making and performing music together. We will still be working together in different capacities and we support Brian in his future musical endeavors as he does with ours. He will still be assisting in different areas, as we fully support each other’s futures. This is a mutual and amicable change, and we hope that our fans and friends support us all as we move forward.

As Brian commences with his solo career and his upcoming book, we will keep you posted with Lillian‘s progress and dates. Thank you for being the greatest fans and friends on the planet.”
