Lost KISS 1979 Dynasty Tour Documentary Surfaces Online

May 20, 2010

A clip from an unreleased documentary about KISS’s 1979 Dynasty Tour has surfaced online to promote the auctions of eBay seller EliteWorks. “A DAY IN THE LIFE OF KISS” was produced as a touring industry training film in the early 1980s and was intended to be issued as a promotional LaserDisc. The segment features a very insightful audio commentary by the late Bill McMannus, whose production company serviced several 1970s KISS tours.

Among the items up for auction: signed items from founding drummer Peter Criss, a never-before-seen collection of 1970s KISS cover story Performance Magazines, a lot featuring 14 Alive/Worldwide guitar picks, complete sets of picks from the Crazy Nights and 1989 Paul Stanley solo tours, the rare Japanese Lick It Up LP with the makeup cover, lots of other import vinyl, and even a prototype box for the unreleased KISS Trivia Challenge CD-Rom game.
