Love And A .38 Member Releasing A Signature Line Of Bass Guitars
July 26, 2011
Justin Emord, bassist of the Los Angeles rock band Love And A .38, is releasing a signature line of basses and guitar straps at the 2012 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California.
The Blayzer, Justin’s third signature bass release from Mudd Guitars, features EMG active electronics, a mahogany body, 24 frets on an ebony fret board, strings from Sfarzo Strings, as well as String Saver Saddles and a TUSQ Nut from Graph Tech Guitar Labs; both of which are companies Justin has endorsed for several years.
The “Fallen Angel” edition Blayzer bass will offer an edgier look than the standard Blayzer model for players of all genres. The “Fallen Angel” Blayzer will also feature strings from Sfarzo and a TUSQ Nut from Graphtech.
“The Blayzer was designed with the player in mind and aims to fix common problems bass players may encounter with their instruments when playing, especially while standing up.” says Justin.
The JE-1, Justin’s signature strap from American Drag Seats, is a hand-made leather guitar strap designed by Justin in collaboration with Kevin Sockwell, owner/founder of American Drag Seats. The strap reflects Justin’s personal style, but is still highly accessible to musicians of all genres.
