Löve Razër reveal replacement drummer for now cancelled California shows due to Coronavirus

Löve Razër consisting of frontman Sydney Snow, bassist Metal Mike and guitarist Micky Bonez were set to play their first two shows outside Canada later this month including at the prestigious Whisky A Go-Go in West Hollywood, California, USA opening for Last In Line on March 27, 2020. Unfortunately and quite understandably, the Canadian sleaze rockers announced today that they will be unable to play those shows due to the Coronavirus / COVD-19 Virus worldwide epidemic. One question mark was who was going to be behind the drum kit for Löve Razër‘s California shows since their original drummer Crissy Stixx had announced to his bandmates via a Facebook message about a month ago that he was quitting the band. We now know that Stixx‘s replacement for the two California shows was going to be covers band 80’s Gone Wild drummer Vinny. Snow and Bonez play with Vinny in 80’s Gone Wild.

The following message was posted on Löve Räzer‘s Facebook page earlier today (with slight edits):

“As I am sure it will come as no surprise we will not be travelling to L.A next week to play the Whisky A Go Go, and Universal Bar & Grill. We are completely bummed, but this situation is out of our hands (COVID-19). We would like to thank all of our fans, friends, family and loved ones for all of the support over the past 6 months who helped us get everything together to make these shows happen. We would also like to thank Vinny from 80’s Gone Wild who was ready to make the trek with us, he was playing the songs perfectly and hitting the drums hard..it was going to be an electric set!!

For those who purchased tickets, or bundles for the LA shows. We will happily issue refunds for the ticket next week. Please reach out to our email address: lrbandofficial@gmail.com

For those who donated via e-transfer, we are also happy to issue refunds if you like. Any funds left will go towards this bands future, studio, music videos or playing the USA or abroad.

Thank you everyone for all the support, we fucking love you! Stay safe and we will see you again soon.

CHEERS!

Metal Mike, Sydney Snow & Micky Bonez!”
