M3 Rock Festival rescheduled from May 1-3 to Sept. 4-6 but without headliner Ratt

Not surprisingly, the COVID-19 virus epidemic has caused the M3 Rock Festival to have to reschedule its 12th edition that was to take place at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, USA from May 1 to 3, 2020.

The rescheduled dates are now on Labour Day Weekend from September 4 to 6, 2020.

Unfortunately, the M3 Rock Festival has lost its headliner Ratt as well as Tyketto but they have added Winger for Day Three and have promised to add additional bands as well.

The following message was posted on M3 Rock Festival‘s Facebook page earlier today:

“The 2020 M3 Rock Festival, originally scheduled for May 1-3, is being rescheduled to Labor Day Weekend, September 4-6, 2020 due to the coronavirus. All tickets will be honored on the new dates, of course. Unfortunately Ratt and Tyketto will no longer be able to perform, but we are thrilled to announce the addition of Winger to the lineup and more will be announced! We can’t wait to rock with you this September! Stay safe and see you at Merriweather soon. Keep your eyes peeled for additional info from Ticketmaster about these new dates.”

Of note, the 11th edition of the M-Pre Party hosted by D-Toxin Productions and organized by Dave Dillman that was supposed to take place at Sonoma’s Bar & Grill in Columbia, Maryland, USA on Thursday, April 30, 2020 will now be taking place on Thursday, September 3, 2020. The event provides a national showcase for many up and coming newer bands that would not necessarily be considered for the M3 Rock Festival. The M-Pre Party‘s 11th edition will feature Pink Velvet KrushPröwess, Sleazy Way Out, Streetlight Circus, The Midnight Devils and White Trash Stars.
