M3 Rock Festival’s 2020 edition rescheduled for second time and this time to April 30 to May 2, 2021
It comes as no surprise with many portions of the United States of America still knee deep in fighting the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic that the M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, Maryland, USA has elected to reschedule its dates once again, and this time from September 4 to 6, 2020 to April 30 to May 2, 2021. The M3 Rock Festival‘s 2020 edition, which featured Ratt, Night Ranger, Tesla and Kix, was first supposed to take place from May 1 to 3, 2020 before officially getting rescheduled on March 30, 2020 to September 4 to 6, 2020.
The following message was posted on the M3 Rock Festival‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“M3 Fans,
We have been working tirelessly on trying to find a safe way to hold our annual M3 Rock Festival in 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. We had really hoped we would be able to figure out a way to pull it off this year, but we ultimately decided that the health and safety of the fans, artists, and staff was not something we could compromise. Aside from the myriad of logistical challenges – artist travel from multiple continents, vendors who have shut down during the pandemic, audience and crew social distancing, etc – we ultimately decided that the safe and responsible thing to do is to reschedule. We refuse to produce an event if we cannot guarantee the safety of all involved.
The good news is that the M3 Rock Festival has been rescheduled to April 30 – May 2, 2021. Your tickets will be good for the new date and you don’t need to do anything. We are working on adding some additional bands to enrich the existing lineup. We anticipate having most, if not all, of the original lineup, but are still working through this.
So far, Merriweather Post and other I.M.P. venues here have been the leaders in people hanging on to their tickets and supporting the artists (and us). We cannot thank you enough. This is how live music will get back on track. Obviously not all of you will be able to join us, so all ticket holders should checks their emails (and spam folder) from more information. For those who can still attend, from us and our artist friends that are waiting to play for you. THANK YOU.

In addition, the 11th edition of the M-Pre Party hosted by D-Toxin Productions and organized by Dave Dillman , which was supposed to take place at Sonoma’s Bar & Grill in Columbia, Maryland, USA on April 30, 2020 (and then got rescheduled to September 3, 2020) and originally feature Pink Velvet Krush, Pröwess, Sleazy Way Out, Streetlight Circus, The Midnight Devils and White Trash Stars, has been cancelled.
