Man Accidently Downloads Child Porn Instead Of Slash Album

A man has been banned from spending time alone with his eight-year-old daughter after he claims he accidentally downloaded child pornography instead of an album by Slash, reports NME.com.
Nigel Robinson from Hull says he informed police when he found the images on his laptop during November of last year, after trying to download music online, reports BBC News.
Robinson says he is “totally innocent”, while no arrests or charges have been made. However, East Riding social services have released a statement saying: “The council’s social care team considers that, on the information it presently has about this case, it is a proportionate response to request that Mr Robinson should not have unsupervised access with his own or other children.”
The Daily Mail reports that Robinson admits he was illegally trying to download an album by Slash but that the files turned out to be explicit photos of children.
Said Robinson of the incident: “When I opened some of them [the files] up, I realised they were young girls. I immediately called my wife. I was panicking. I asked her what she thought I should do and her response was to call the police.”
He continued: I was willing to take it on the chin for downloading the music. I half expected to get arrested for that but felt it was important because someone was obviously uploading this.
Robinson’s laptop has been taken away for investigation by the authorities, but it could take until the end of the year until the case is resolved.
