Masterplan release version of Helloween’s “Escalation 666” for streaming

Masterplan featuring former Helloween guitarist Roland Grapow have released another song from their upcoming new album PumpKings, which will be released via AFM Records on July 28, 2017 and which contains Masterplan‘s versions of Helloween songs co-written or written by Grapow. After releasing a lyric video for “The Chance”, Masterplan have now released the song “Escalation 666” for streaming.

Sleaze Roxx stated the following in its review of Masterplan‘s PumpKings: “Was it a good idea for Masterplan to re-record the various Helloween songs from Grapow‘s time in the band? Sure it was! Did Masterplan improve upon any of Helloween’s versions of the songs? Probably not. Nevertheless, it’s fun to revisit all of these Helloween classics on one album and it’s a nod to Grapow on the significant writing contributions that he made to Helloween during his time in that band.”
