Metallica Drop Bob Rock For Rick Rubin
METALLICA DROP BOB ROCK FOR RICK RUBIN:
October 27, 2007
Expect new Metallica early in 2008, but with a change of producer. Rick Rubin is working with the band instead of mainstay Bob Rock.
The San Francisco band has been working throughout this year on their first album since 2003’s ‘St Anger’ and are nearing the end of production.
Producer Rick Rubin has been working on the record with the band. Rubin is expected to contribute a new sound for the band, after they chose to not work with longtime production collaborator Bob Rock.
Known song titles include ‘German Soup’, ‘Black Squirrel’ and ‘Glass Cow’.
A date is yet to be set for album. The title is still to be confirmed.
