Michael Sweet feeling fortunate that Stryper still able to tour despite expenses going “through the roof”
Stryper frontman Michael Sweet continues to post some of his random thoughts on his Facebook page. This time, Sweet addressed the high cost for bands to tour in this climate and age. Stryper will be embarking on a tour of Australia and New Zealand starting on March 2, 2023. The Christian rockers also have a number of your dates across the United States of America from March 25, 2023 to June 10, 2023.

The following message was posted on Sweet‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“Touring is really tough these days. Expenses have gone through the roof yet offers/guarantees don’t balance out the difference.
We’re very fortunate that we’re still able to tour. Some bands can’t. We still can. At least for now. That day may come sooner than later when we realistically cannot tour any longer but until then, we will continue to strive to bring you a great show, a great album, great music and a great message.
Why am I posting this? As a heads up to other bands. Work smart, travel smart and play smart. Stay determined and never give up. Work around the obstacles and never say never.
Where there is will there is a way. It’s true. You may feel that there is no hope for your band but if you stay positive and committed, you will find a way around any mountain.
The mind and heart, working together can change anything.
Also and most important, pray. Believe. Keep the faith. Faith in God. He will always see you through and you will look back on those times and thank Him for doing so.
We’re prepping for a great year and we’re excited to still do what we love to do. Thank you all for always supporting The Y&B Attack and we look forward to seeing you soon
