Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA rockers Absolute Anarchy consisting of Noah Polston on lead guitar and lead vocals, Gage Cerda on drums, Thomas Thompson on bass and Dino Vario on rhythm guitar are looking for a new lead vocalist.

The following message was posted on Absolute Anarchy‘s Facebook page yesterday (with slight edits):

“IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! We are currently holding auditions for a lead singer! This DOES NOT mean that @noahpolston_official is leaving the band, just not singing anymore and only playing lead guitar/some back up vocals. AGES 15-21 (maybe some exceptions) AND PREFERABLY IN THE METRO DETROIT AREA, IF FARTHER THAT IS FINE, AS LONG AS YOU ARE OK WITH THE DISTANCE!!! Also we’re looking for someone who sounds like (has the range/power) of any of the following: Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) Vince Neil (Motley Crue), Axl Rose (Guns N’ Roses), Sammy Hagar (Van Halen), etc…

Absolute Anarchy‘s “Story” on their Facebook page indicates:

“Absolute Anarchy is a 15-17 year old hard rock/metal band hailing from Sterling Heights, MI. We’ve been a band for about two years, playing clubs such as the Diesel Concert Lounge (which we once headlined), The Hot Rock (formally know as The Ritz), The Music Factory, etc… We played the DTE mainstage at Sterlingfest 2018, after placing 1st. in the 2nd annual Sterling Heights Battle of the Bands 2018, along with winning studio time to record our debut EP, (which will hopefully be coming out sometime in the fall). We also placed first at the 2017 AGM (American Guild of Music) Battle of the Bands. We have been a headline in the Macomb Daily newspaper for one of our shows at the Diesel Concert Lounge (courtesy of Mitch Hotts), and appeared on the radio show the Local Scream.

Our band features Noah Polston (16) on lead guitar and vocals, Gage Cerda (15) on drums and back up vocals, Thomas Thompson (17) on bass guitar, and Dino Vario (17) on rhythm guitar. Our influences range from Megadeth, Skid Row, and Pantera, to GNR, Metallica, KISS, and Motley Crue, among others. People we’d like to thank that have helped us make it this far are Jason Nikou, Howie Herula, Mike Scott, Donnie Carnes, the Parents of the band, Josh Ford, Steve Thorn, Robert Sergott, Lee Caldwell, and all of our amazing fans, AKA Anarchists. Our mission statement is to bring back true hard rock and heavy metal, have a good time and entertain people! We want to put out the music we don’t hear anymore, and bring it back to the mainstream, and show this generation what rock is about! Our peers don’t quite understand us, but who cares?
