Mickey Kravitz unveils lyric video for new single “Down On The Devil”

Singer Mickey Kravitz has teamed up with some of his Harlow bandmates to release a lyric video for his solo single “Down On The Devil.”

Kravitz‘s press release indicates (with slight edits):

Mickey Kravitz worked with guitarist Hyland Church (Harlow, DC4, Electra) to write and record along with bassist Yanni Barakos (Harlow, Electra) and drummer Dan Welby (Hostile Groove, Electra, Time and the Dragon). Recorded at Stagg Street in Los Angeles mixed by Ross Stein produced by Kravitz/Stein. “Down On The Devil”  is just a rock song, straight ahead rock! “After being locked up for two years with all this Corona nonsense we wanted to just do something fun without really thinking too hard about it, something with a cool ’70s rock vibe and feel”. We are looking forward to getting back in the studio soon to write and record another couple songs.

Harlow was formed in Kansas City, Missouri in 1986 with Mickey Kravitz (vocal), Hyland Church (guitar), Matt Cascio (guitar), Mike Rubyor (drums) and Gregg Hurla (bass). The band signed with Greenworld Records with the help of then manager Eric Greif, released the first record “We Do What We Wanna Do” and the single “Rock The Box”. Cleopatra Records re-released “Rock The Box” on the Hollywood Rocks box set in 2005. Harlow reformed in 2009 to play the Rocklahoma festival and released another single “Fear On The Radio” with Cherie Currie (The Runaways) singing backup vocals on Retrospect Records from the full-length record Now and Then. Also released the holiday classic “Snow All Night” for the Stanta’s Soundtrack on Main Man Records. In 2011, Harlow was nominated for an AVN award for best original song in an adult XXX movie.”
