Million Dollar Reload Releasing Live Album In December

Northern Ireland rockers Million Dollar Reload will release their third album on December 10th entitled ‘As Real As It Gets’.
Million Dollar Reload’s previous releases, ‘Anthems Of A Degeneration’ (Powerage Records, 2010) and ‘A Sinner’s Saint’ (Frontiers Records, 2012) revieved widespread acclaim for their ferocious approach to the Classic rock style — with the latter taking top spot on the Sleaze Roxx Top 10. This release though, is unexpectedly a live album recorded at the Diamond Rock Club in Northern Ireland.
Singer Phil Conalane explains, “It all started at a late nite drinking session after a show we’d done in Paris. Shooting the breeze and telling lies to each other in the hotel bar led to remincising about great live rock albums and recordings. Alice Cooper live albums, KISS, Maiden ,the GNR bootleg at The Marquee, amongst others. Alcohol fuelled bravado dictated that we should do one too!”
Gutarist BAM continues, “It was really more for ourselves that we wanted to try and do it. Live albums sound great on vinyl, so we knew straight off the bat we had to put it out on vinyl too. We are chuffed with the results, its got all the ingredients we wanted — a small rock club that barely holds a few hundred fans, 5 guys rocking their asses off onstage, loud guitars and even louder crazy rock fans and absolutely no backing tracks!! Too many so called ‘rock’ bands are destroying their integrity and the rock n roll ethos with that crap these days. This is a raw, warts and all, record… its as real as it gets!. It captures an M$R rock gig perfectly.”
Guitarist Andy Mack adds, “We are right in the middle of demoing songs for our next studio album, so this release comes at the perfect time for us. Its kinda like a ‘bridger’ before the next album is done next year.”
