Modern Superstar released their debut album back on May 13th, 2011 called ‘Under My Skin’ with the song that defined them “The Devil’s Playground”. The band was formed back in 2010 by founding member and drummer Ryche Green (who had a tenure in BulletBoys from 2006 to 2010). Recently the band revised the original line-up on the ‘Under My Skin’ album with Ryche now joined by Lorenzo “Zo Driver” Delvecchio on guitars (former Regulators), Mike Mackey on bass (former Brain Bucket), Mike Hatfield on guitars (former Scrap Yard) and vocalist Tommy Milan (former Razmataz).
With non-stop touring and a successful first release, the Cape Coral, Florida band is now recording with producer Stet Howland (former W.A.S.P. drummer) and finishing up the final EP to be released in 2013. Currently in pre-production the band will finish up the final recordings at Blue Island Studio in Illinois with song writer Chip Z’ Nuff (Enuff Z’ Nuff, Adler’s Appetite). The follow-up to ‘Under My Skin’ will prove to be more in depth and a true rock record in every sense of the word. The material is heavier and well written with no sacrifices, sure to please rocks fans around the world.
Due out first quarter of 2013, Modern Superstar is poised and ready to leap forward ‘in a single bound’. It’s make it or break it time and believing in this band is only the half of it. The other half is proving it and proving it they are. 2013 is the next stepping stone for Modern Superstar, elevating their status in the industry, bigger tours, meeting fans, creating great music and giving back to the fans sums up just a small portion of where Modern Superstar goals, aspirations and milestones are set. They are currently wrapping up their first single as an outfit, “Dirty Girl”, to released soon.
