International rock icons, Motley Crue will be offering up 24 hours of free “Sex” with their first new original song in almost 4 years on Monday, July 16th via their website www.motley.com. Sirius XM will be giving Motley fans a SEXclusive sneak peak of the track as they debut it all weekend long starting on Friday, July 13th.

Bassist Nikki Sixx asks, “What better way to give back to our loyal fans who have been with us for over 3 decades than free ‘Sex?'” Sixx adds, “We can’t wait to play the new song every night on The Tour this summer.”

Motley Crue will be launching The Tour, their co-headlining jaunt with KISS and arguably the biggest rock spectacle of the summer, on July 20th in Bristow, VA. The more than 40-city North American trek marks the first time Motley Crue and KISS are sharing the same stage since 1982. For more information and tickets, please visit www.motley.com/tour.

Motley Crue began 2012 at the top of their game with a sold-out residency in Las Vegas, and first ever for the hard rock genre, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The band was featured in an award-winning and highly televised Superbowl commercial for Kia. The band is currently wrapping up a European tour.

After over 80-million albums sold worldwide, Motley Crue returned to the top of the charts in 2008 with ‘Saints of Los Angeles’, their first studio album with the original line-up — Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Tommy Lee and Vince Neil — in a decade and the ninth studio album in their career. Based on the band’s New York Times bestseller The Dirt, the disc debuted at #1 on the Independent Album chart and was the top debut of the week on the Billboard Top 200 albums at #4. “Saints of Los Angeles,” which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance was also noted as the #1 Rock Song of the Year in 2008 by iTunes critics.

Half a million rock fans old and new celebrated Crue Fest, the top touring rock festival in the summer of 2008, featuring Motley Crue, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx:A.M. and Trapt. Continuous touring around the world brought the band back to the U.S. for 2009’s Crue Fest 2, which featured ten bands on two stages as well as treated fans to a show comprised of two separate sets — the complete track listing from the hit album ‘Dr. Feelgood’ (for the first time ever) followed by the best of the rest.
