The following message was posted on New England Rock Fest‘s Facebook page earlier today:

“Hello Folks

We want to address the 800 Pound Gorilla in the room. What is happening with N.E.R.F? Well as of right NOW, it is still a go for August. We have been in contact with the hotel and they have assured us they will be operational for us in August, and looking forward to seeing all of you for a 3rd year in a row. With that said however, the venue is of course temporarily closed at the moment, as is all entertainment establishments. So we need to wait and see what the state will be doing come August. So we will make a decision by May in regards if we will proceed, cancel or postpone. Of course, we have every intention of throwing one hell of a party for all of you. However we will not take any risks until we have had weighed all options. We are optimistic of course, but not ruling anything out at the moment. Most of all , we do not wish to make premature decisions. Rest assured, we will keep all of you in the loop.

In the meantime, stay safe, be well and we hope to be seeing all of you come August !

Thank You”
