New London album is in the works
American born guitarist, singer and composer, Eddie St.James, who is based in Germany, has begun work in early August 2015 with the legendary Los Angeles based heavy metal band London.
St. James reports: “I’m very happy to report that after eight years from the last time that I was involved working with the legendary L.A. based metal band London (The Metal Years), to have received a call recently from the main man himself and old friend of mine, Mr. Nadir D’priest. I’m very happy and excited to be working with Nadir again and to be involved as co-writer and guitarist on the new upcoming London album.”
There are reportedly quite a few well known guest musicians also involved such as people from W.A.S.P., Giuffria, The Bob Welch Band, Hurricane, Britney Fox as a sort of all star project album. For a change of pace, London are now having well known musicians from well known groups coming in and joining them, instead having them leave to join well known groups.
The band is currently tracking September 2015 at the Count’s Desert Moon Production facilities with engineer Sean O’Dwyer. The recording sessions are going very well and the newest London album marks the fifth release after three studio albums and one recent live CD. It is anticipated that the band will be keeping their hard hitting catchy rock/metal tradition alive and that the new album will be released sometime in 2016.
