CRASH KELLY TO SET HOLLYWOOD ABLAZE:

January 10, 2005

For five nights in January, Toronto rawk commandos Crash Kelly will be drinking, rocking and strutting their way through Hollywood , trolling the Strip for loose women and bad fun. Led by vocalist/guitarist Sean Kelly , Crash Kelly are bringing back the glory days of ’70s glitter-rock and power-stomp, not to mention the more ruthless sounds of the ’80s hairspray-swarm . Think the Alice Cooper Group , The Sweet and Aerosmith before they got old, fat and irrelevant; think T. Rex before Marc Bolan got all bloated. Then imagine the younger, “decade of decadence” members of Motley Crue and RATT pounding beers and groupies in an alley off of the Sunset Strip. Hell, they even cover Cheap Trick’s “ELO Kiddies” and Rainbow’s “Since You Been Gone” better than the originals.

Crash Kelly ‘s unstoppable debut, Penny Pills , is set for release via Liquor And Poker Music on January 25, and it might as well be the swaggering alternate soundtrack for Fast Times at Ridgemont High . Only, you know, Canadian. Suffice to say, the action is go.

The rock n roll dominance will happen accordingly:
