MOTLEY CRUE PLAN SUMMERTIME CARNIVAL OF SIN:
March 2, 2005
After six years of not speaking, now it seems like the members of a reunited Motley Crue can’t get enough of each other.
The ’80s metal legends, whose current 50-date Red, White & Crue U.S. tour runs through May 1, have announced 55 summertime North American dates under the Carnival of Sin banner.
After a brief sprint to Europe for some festival shows, the Crue will return and open the Carnival of Sin Tour in Sacramento, California, on July 27, with dates currently scheduled to run through an October 16 show in Sioux City, Iowa. Unlike their first batch of arena dates, some of the summer shows will feature opening acts, among them Sum 41 and the Exies, as well as others to be announced later, according to a band spokesperson.
