HOT NEWS! “ROCK OF AGES” COMPILATION ALBUM AND SUMMER US TOUR!
In October of last year, the world was treated with a new Def Leppard “BEST OF” compilation album. Well, not the entire world….. Notably missing from the list countries where the album was released, were the USA and Canada. So now it’s their turn: on May 17, “ROCK OF AGES: THE DEFINITIVE COLLECTION” (Bludgeon Riffola/Island/UMe) will be released in North America. In support of this release, Def Leppard will tour the US, but they won’t be alone — they will be joined by none other than fellow rocker BRYAN ADAMS! Read on for all the details…..
THE ALBUM
On May 17, ROCK OF AGES: THE DEFINITIVE COLLECTION double CD will be released in North American stores! While the first disc contains 17 of the band’s biggest hits, such as “POUR SOME SUGAR ON ME”, “PHOTOGRAPH”, “LOVE BITES” and “LET’S GET ROCKED”, the second disc focuses on the more ‘edgy’ side of the band with songs like “WASTED”, “LET IT GO”, “WORK IT OUT” and “PAPER SUN”. Added to this definitive collection of hit songs is also a brand new track — “NO MATTER WHAT”, originally recorded in 1970 by Badfinger. THE TOUR
This summer, DEF LEPPARD and BRYAN ADAMS will give the phrase “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” a whole new meaning as they co-headline the ROCK ‘N ROLL DOUBLE-HEADER TOUR. Two of the most popular rock acts to ever take the stage will team up for the first time and perform at 26 minor league baseball stadiums in the States. The rock ‘n roll season opens June 1st in Portland, OR, at the home of the Beavers, then travels down the West Coast and through Texas before heading to the East Coast and into the Midwest where it will end the season on August 10th in Lansing, MI, home of the Lugnuts. In each park, the stage will be set up in the outfield and fans can either bring a blanket to sit on the field or take a seat in the stands. The tour will take Def Leppard and Bryan Adams to the following cities:
