Lock up your daughters, Stockholm’s Backyard Babies are returning to North America!!

After a successful tour opening up for punk legends, Social Distortion, the Backyard Babies are returning to North America for a headlining national summer tour with labelmates The Black Halos, kicking off at the NXNE Conference in Toronto, June 9th at Funhaus.

The Babies will be supporting their newest release, Tinnitus on California based Liquor and Poker Music. A compilation of four tracks from previously unreleased albums, Tinnitus is an overdue introduction to one of rock n’ roll’s unsung diamonds. It combines experiences of the Backyard Babies’ teenage years listening to The Clash, Kiss, Dead Boys, Motley Crue, The Stooges, Hanoi Rocks and the Rolling Stones with the rock n’ roll circus experiences gained as a touring band. More importantly, the unrelenting rock n’ roll provides a glimpse into the past as well as the future of over the top, trashy, punk rawk & roll.

Forerunners of the Swedish invasion that brought bands like The Hives, Sahara Hotnights and The Hellacopters, which guitarist Dregen was a founding member of, the BACKYARD BABIES have unleashed a mirror-shades-and-mascara action-rock riot upon unsuspecting citizenry in every corner of the globe.
