GENE SIMMONS BEGINS FILMING A&E REALITY SHOW FAMILY JEWELS:
November 19, 2005
As you can tell by the top, we have started shooting our GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS series for A&E. Thirteen (13) episodes have been ordered, and the camera crew is over here, even as I’m typing this.
Can’t tell you much about the series at this point, but what I CAN tell you, is that we’re going to be real. No script. No fake situations. You might be surprised to know that reality shows aren’t so real after all. Most have ‘situations’ and people ‘act out’ according to what the producers are looking for.
The cameras will be following me around. I’m involved in a lot of new stuff, and of course I’m proud to be a member of my favorite band, KISS.
Mostly, what I want to do, is to involve YOU. It was you who made my life possible in the first place. That’s why I want you to read the notice at the top of the page.
I’m a lucky guy. I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to have my cake, eat it too…and swallow.
Miss Tweed is a modern, 21st Century Woman. No torture. No petty conversations. She should teach a class to other women…’How To Treat Men.” She is the Queen.
My kids — what can I say. They are about the best students in school, and couldn’t be better…but then…
In our home, there are very strict rules…but lots of freedom, too.
There is: No cursing. No smoking (if my kids catch me uttering a no-no, it costs me five bucks…Nick, in particular, has amassed over $1,000.) There is also: No getting high. No drinking.
None. Period.
If I catch you getting high or being drunk, there is a place in the desert called Tough Love Camp. I don’t believe in ‘three strikes’. I believe in ONE.
If you cross the street, you better be looking both ways, because you will only get ONE CHANCE to survive. If you cross without looking, you risk getting run over.
Needless to say, it’s a happy home. Good fences make good neighbors.
Rules are good.
My home.
My rules.
