Iron Maiden have arranged with Ebay to auction some specially signed items to raise money towards the Clive Burr MS Fund.

This follows their special one night performance in September at the Hammersmith Apollo which raised over 120,000 pounds.

The Fund was set up in 2002 when the band discovered that their ex-band mate, drummer Clive Burr suffered from Multiple Sclerosis. The band then performed three sell out nights at the Brixton Academy with all proceeds being used to help Clive and other MS sufferers with their treatment and care and improve the quality of their life. The fund has helped with specialist equipment, transport and essential living expenses.

Many fans have also performed their own fund raising activities with special gigs of their own and numerous other contributions via the website and fan club.

The items included in the auction are a Fender Stratocaster donated and used by guitarist Dave Murray, tour programmes and rare special event shirts from the night at Hammersmith all signed by the band and Clive Burr himself.

The auction starts on 8.00pm (GMT) November 24th and runs for ten days so get those bids in.

The winning bidders on each auction will be contacted to arrange delivery once the auction has ended.

Payment can be made via Paypal or by cheque or International Money Orders made payable in Pound Sterling to the ‘Clive Burr MS Trust’ although no items will be dispatched until the cheques have been cleared. Details will be made clear on each auction page.

Happy Bidding.
