HUGHES/THRALL TO BE REMASTERED?:

January 3, 2006

Probably the first Glenn Hughes scoop in the new year, and a good one! The classic album Hughes/Thrall is likely to get a remastered release later this year. The unique blend of pop & rock, originally recorded in 1982 by Glenn Hughes (vocals & bass) & Pat Thrall (guitars) is currently being prepared for release on the British Rock Candy Records label for release in May 2006. Rumour has it that the remastered album contains some previously unreleased music as well.

Glenn is currently working hard on his new album. The album will feature JJ Marsh on guitars and Chad Smith on drums. Chili Pepper and fellow funkmeister John Frusciante wrote some music too, and will probably make an appearance on the album, which will be recorded January. Ryan Hewitt will be the engineer and mixer for the new record. He is known for his work with the Chili Peppers, Blink-182, U2, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel and many others.
