DAVID COVERDALE CONSIDERING COMEBACK:
February 16, 2006
Former DEEP PURPLE and WHITESNAKE rocker DAVID COVERDALE has vowed to make a second solo comeback this year – if he can get enough support for a US tour.
The British singer is still popular in America and his most recent comeback, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Whitesnake in 2003/4, was a huge success.
He says, “I sell 3,000-5,000 records a week in America so there’s still a good audience. The shows in 2004 went really well and I’ve been offered some for 2006.
“I’ll only play for as long as people want me to.”
