FINAL TRACK LISTING FOR RICKY PARENT CANCER BENEFIT CD:
March 17, 2006
A benefit CD that was originally scheduled for world wide release last year is finally going to see the light of day. Labour of Love will be released April 1st, according to 34 West spokesperson Aaron Duke. “We’ve survived a fire, a lot of tough losses personally and professionally but we’ve persevered.” On January 28th, 2006 a huge fire broke out on Main Street in downtown Galesburg, Illinois. 34 West was located right next door to the blaze. Thanks to the Galesburg Fire Department, the label was fortunate to be able to recover all their files and masters for the project but it set the release date back yet again.
The final track listing is being released and features 2 previously rare and unreleased tracks from Enuff Z’nuff and Trixter plus appearances from Bon Jovi’s Richie Sambora, Foreigner’s Jeff Pilson and The Sy Klopps Blues band featuring members of Journey, The Tubes and Europe.

Parent (Sass Jordan, Alice Cooper, Vince Neil, War & Peace), drummer for Chicago’s Enuff Z’nuff was diagnosed with cancer in 2004 and continues his recovery.
“He has good days and bad days but he’s a fighter and he’s got a new perspective on life and what is really important”, says Duke.
