WHITESNAKE’S DAVID COVERDALE “VERY HAPPY WITH THE NEW SONGS”:

I am very happy with the new songs…Doug Aldrich & I specifically worked on ideas we felt we be fun to play live & would fit comfortably with the rest of the live material…so, there are 3 ‘balls to ze walls’ rockers, & one mid tempo power ballad…Perhaps we should call the mini-album ‘Balls & Ballads’ or ‘Ride The Raunch’???…Hee Hee…it’s close to the bone, Boys & Girls…I warn you!!!…
I will be recording the vocal for the last of the 4 songs tomorrow morning with my ol’ pal, Mikey Mac at the helm…I love singing at home…( all the creature comforts this mere mortal could possibly desire under one roof… )…John X is coming up to Tahoe this week to go over all the bits & pieces & will commence to mixing the live stuff first…
Time is of the essence right now…making sure to stay in balance as much as possible with such a hectic schedule…We did take a break today, tho’…Cindy & I took Jazz & his adorable girlfriend Mischa to see ‘Ice Age 2’…very funny for You guys with little ‘uns…Twirls…enjoy Florida, Mon Amis…I could use a little warmth…it’s like we’re having our own ‘ice age’ here!…& with that…he was summoned to dinner…take care, Y’All…Oh, Oh…here comes the snow again!…
