It’s going to be an amazingly busy show this week on THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW. First off, our featured band of the week is a newcomer to the scene called Black Stone Cherry. They are out on the road with Buckcherry right now promoting their debut release. In case you haven’t heard them yet, think Brand New Sin meets Hellfueled or something along those lines. They are excellent; an album Chris has called the best of 2006 to date. We’ll do a New Music Listening Party for BLACK STONE CHERRY, and we’ll be hooking up with someone in the band to talk about being a rock band in today’s musical climate. Also slated on the show will be an appearance by guitar legend Zakk Wylde. As is always the case, Zakk has yet another Black Label Society release coming out. This one is called SHOT TO HELL. We debuted the new single, Concrete Jungle, last week, and now Zakk has agreed to come on to talk about it, the new album, the Ozzfest and more. Finally, show friend and star Stephen Pearcy has a brand new live UNPLUGGED album out. We’ve been in touch with Stephen, and Mr. “Oh God, That’s Great” will be checking in with Neeley and Chris to talk about it.
