SCORPIONS HERMAN RAREBELL RETURNS TO THE SCENE:

LEGENDARY SCORPIONS DRUMMER, HERMAN RAREBELL, RETURNS TO THE SCENE;SIGNS MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT WITH JEFF KELLER MANAGEMENT LLC
After a decade, legendary Scorpions drummer/songwriter, Herman Rarebell,has returned to the scene. Rarebell, who recently reunited with theScorpions at the Wacken Festival in Germany this summer, is currentlycompleting a new album under the moniker “Herman Rarebell And Band”. Thealbum, which is titled “I’m Back”, is sure to please Rarebell’s longtimefans as it features a broad scope of catchy new rock songs, as well as anew version of the classic Scorpions hit, “Rock You Like a Hurricane”, asong that Rarebell co-wrote with fellow Scorpions Klaus Meine and RudolfSchenker. The album will see a 2007 release through a label which is yet tobe determined.
Rarebell will tour the US, Europe, and Japan throughout 2007 with his newband which also features his wife, Claudia Raab (saxophone), James “Duke”Jackson (guitars, also in Strikeforce), and lead vocalist, Stefan Erz.
In addition to the new album and tour, Rarebell is also completing anautobiography which will see a release in 2007. Titled “My Life as aScorpion”, the book will shed light on Rarebell’s life in the Scorpions, aswell as feature photos from his personal collection.
To coincide with his return, Rarebell has signed a worldwide managementagreement with Jeff Keller Management LLC (American Heartbreak, Omen). Ofthe signing and his return to the scene, Rarebell says, “It is my pleasureto be managed by Jeff Keller and his company. I can’t wait to get back onthe road and on tour and to “Rock You Like a Hurricane” again!”
