April 5, 2007

Earlier today Wolfchild’s Tomi Nousiainen posted news regarding the sudden death of his bassist bandmate Jaska Koivusilta:

“A sad announcement;
I’m sorry to announce the saddest of news. Wolfchild’s bassplayer Jaska Koivusilta and the dear friend of mine and the band’s passed away on April the 3rd. The band won’t quit because of this, but we need some time to recover from this. Life must go on.”

Wolfchild released their self-titled debut on Perris records last year. The album went on top be named in Sleaze Roxx’s Top 10 albums of 2006 and the band had just recently been breaking in new vocalist Mika Siitonen. The band also recently posted their first ever video online for the song Don’t Shoot Me, which can be viewed at www.youtube.com.
