TIGERTAILZ PULL OUT OF ROCKLAHOMA DUE TO ILLNESS:
July 6, 2007
After weeks of speculation and much negotiation / deliberation, we regret to announce that TIGERTAILZ will not be playing the ROCKLAHOMA Festival on July 12 in Oklahoma USA.
Unfortunately, Pepsi has been readmitted to hospital and has undergone another operation in his fight against Pancreatic Cancer. Pepsi is still undergoing treatment and requires two more operations in the coming weeks, so traveling to the US now is out of the question.
However, Pepsi still wanted the band to travel without him and use a stand-in Bass player to fulfill the ROCKLAHOMA commitment. Unfortunately, with the limited timescales and logistics involved it just hasn’t been possible to get everything prepared in time.
So, it is with a heavy heart that we have to pull out of the ROCKLAHOMA show.
We would like to thank Dave Tedder (Headfirst Entertainment) and the ROCKLAHOMA organisers for all their help in trying to make it happen. And a very special thanks and apologies go out to all our US fans that were traveling to see TIGERTAILZ at the festival. We’re very sorry and will see you all soon.
TIGERTAILZ plan to do some US shows later this year in support of their new THRILL PISTOL album which is released on the following dates:
UK – August 27
Europe – September 3
USA – September 12
Apologies to you all and we hope to see you soon.
Kim, Jay, Pepsi, Matt.
NEW ALBUM – THRILL PISTOL Coming Soon
The new TIGERTAILZ album THRILL PISTOL is now fully mixed and complete. Pepsi has also completed all artwork and a snapshot of the new album cover is shown above. THRILL PISTOL will be released in August/September 2007 on SANCTUARY RECORDS.
The final track listing (in no particular order) is as follows:
– Brain The Sucker
– Long Live The New Flesh
– Twisted

– She’z So Wild

As previously reported, THRILL PISTOL will be a double CD pack that will also include a ‘bonus’ disc of the original WAZBONES album which was originally recorded in 1991 but never officially released.
