QUIET RIOT CALLS IT QUITS
QUIET RIOT CALLS IT QUITS:
While rumors circulate that vocalist Kevin DuBrow walked out on the band mid-tour, drummerFrankie Banali has confirmed that Quiet Riot has called it quits. However he has not goneinto details about the nature of the bands split. The official Quiet Riot site simply states:
1983-2003
To our fans:
Thank you for 20 years of Rock & Roll
Good-bye
Quiet Riot
In related news, speaking about the upcoming Quiet Riot DVD, Banali says, “I am now told by the principals of 2RS Studios that the “street date” release of “QUIET RIOT Live in the 21st Century – 20 Years of Metal Health” will be October 7, 2003. They have cited everything from delays in manufacturing, final artwork, packaging, mastering, as well as having an even field for retailers to have the product as the reason for the delays in the original forecasted release date of August 1. I am as surprised as you are, but it is out of the control of QUIET RIOT.”
