SEVEN TEN CLEAN HOUSE IN THE MIDWEST:
January 23, 2004
Chicago: Cleaning House in the Midwest!!
Metal Mayhem Music recording artists Seven Ten wish to announce the departure of lead guitarist Johnny Searing. It’s a brand new day and things could not be better, Says Michael St. Allen the bands singer. We will not sling mud but to say that things did not work out between the band, and Johnny Searing. Johnny was headed in a very different direction with his personal goals, music style, and business dealings. Johnny replaced Kenny Lee last November when the band played the Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville, In.
The band is speaking with Metal Mayhem about possible choices for the guitarist slot. There have been rumors of Original guitarist and co-founder Kenny Lees return but nothing official has been announced. Before that could happen we would want to sit down with Kenny and explain our current goals, and hear his as well. The band is currently talking with the label about a potential arrangement with Carlos Cavazo ( Quiet Riot), Steve Blaze (Lillian Axe), George Lynch (Dokken), Robert Marchello (Obsession), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake), Reb Beach (Winger/ Dokken/ Whitesnake), Brad Gillis (Night Ranger). Make no mistake the band has not inked anything with these musicians, but the potential interest to have them guest on the second Seven Ten cd is there no doubt about it. The band has already talked with Lanse King (Former Balance Of Power Lead Singer), and it looks to be that he could be doing some harmony vocals for the bands follow-up to last years Love and War cd currently available from Metal Mayhem, Online Retailers and the bands own website. The band as well is speaking with Lake Of Fire Productions In McHenry, IL. Lake Of Fire has shown interest in producing our next cd, so in short things are just fine in the Seven Ten camp!
Our first cd is doing fairly well and we are starting to ready song ideas for the next cd. We would like to thank all the online music sites that have helped us along the way! Check out www.SevenTenTheBand.com in the coming weeks for an official announcement, along with all the online sites who support real Rock N’ Roll.
