This past Wednesday (1.28) was one hell of a day to remember. After not being able to make it out to the filming of Probot’s first video “Shake Your Blood” (filmed the day of our wedding) we were happier than hell to have the opportunity to finally catch up with an all-star metal crew at the MTV studios for a filming of the Headbanger’s Ball. The band did an in-studio performance (a first for Headbanger’s Ball) of “My Tortured Soul” featuring Eric Wagner of Trouble.

Besides Eric on vocals and of course Dave Grohl smashing the skins, the band’s lineup for this particular track included the almighty Wino (Hidden Hand/St. Vitus/The Obsessed/Spirit Caravan) on guitar, studio genius Nick Raskulinecz (prod. Goatsnake, Foo Fighters, Danzig, Probot, etc.) on bass and Greg Anderson (Thorr’s Hammer/Goatsnake/ SUNN0)))/owner Southern Lord Records) on guitar. Also in attendance was Snake from Voivod, just there to be part of the action. After the song was blasted out with a snow-covered Time’s Square taxi mob in the background the whole crew was interviewed by HBB host Jamey Hatebreed, which will air on the same episode, obviously. The episode will include a bunch of videos with the illustrious Probot vocalists’ bands, including Corrosion Of Conformity, The Obsessed, Motorhead, Trouble, Sepultura and Voivod as well as the Probot video for “Shake Your Blood” w/ Lemmy and Wino and more.

The show airs this Saturday, February 7th at 10PM (but check your local listings!)
