KILLINGBIRD ROCKS DEAN GUITARS: AN UNHOLY UNION:

July 8, 2004

Los Angeles, CA- July 6, 2004

The real fireworks over the long weekend were with two “All American” heroes from the underbelly of the rock scene.

Dean Guitars has just added the seedy rock band, Killinbird to it’s Rock ‘n Roll roster of artists who endorse the Florida based guitar company.

Dean Guitars, known for it’s quality and unorthodox guitar angels is currently one of the most innovative guitar companies in the market place. The independent guitar company is growing by folds with a younger audience. Dean had enjoyed tremendous success in the 70’s and 80’s and is now seeing huge sales spikes from the booming rock scene.

Killinbird, an LA based sleaze rock band released their self titled CD in 2002 and their second record “Waste Another Yesterday” in 2003 on 2K Sounds, a Virgin subsidiary and distributed through EMI. Killingbird was most recently featured on the Metal Sludge compilation CD with their raw version of Vain’s “Beat The Bullet”.

To announce the endorsement, Dean is giving away an EVO Dragster guitar and some Killingbird swag. Details at: www.deanguitars.com.

“Dean is the perfect guitar company for Killingbird,” lead singer Christian comments. “They have such an amazing sound and they look like nothing else out there…plus they’re built like they’re going into war, which is how we handle our equipment on stage.”
