Nightglow Aim For March Release Of ‘We Rise’

January 24, 2013

Heavy metal band Nightglow have inked a deal with logic(il)logic Records to publish their debut album ‘We Rise’, scheduled for release in March 2013.

Born in 2003, Nightglow has been touring Northern Italy and Europe since 2006 as a well-known and appreciated Manowar cover band. Later on, the band started working on their own music and recorded ‘We Rise’, eight tracks of pure old school heavy metal. A short video teaser by Michael Gardenia can be viewed below.

Nightglow saw the light in 2003 as a heavy metal band devoted to classic metal music, inspired by the English trend of the ’80s and embellished with a more modern, sophisticated sound. In addition to its own pieces, Nightglow also offers covers of Iron Maiden, Metallica, Manowar, Megadeth, Gamma Ray, Black Sabbath and other big metal bands of the past.

In 2010 Nightglow endured some major changes. Three mainstays left the band to pursue personal projects and two phenomenal artists took over the guitars — Andrea Moretti (already in the band for over a year) and Giulio Negrini, a nationally known guitar-maker. The new five member line-up, rounded out by vocalist Daniele Abate, bassist Davide Fantuzzi and drummer Marco Romani, swept away any doubt about the future of the band. With new energy and renewed passion, the five musicians entered the studio in July 2011 for their first full-length album, scheduled for release via logic(il)logic Records in 2013.
