Nikki Sixx And Wife Courtney Plan To Have A Child This Year

February 11, 2015

Motley Crue will complete their final tour at the end of this year, but that doesn’t mean Nikki Sixx will have time to sit at home and relax. Instead, the 56-year-old bassist and his new wife Courtney Bingham are hoping to try and have a baby this year.

“We’d like one child — I don’t know if I have the pateince for more,” Bingham revealed in the latest issue of Hello! Magazine. “I’m not good at getting up in the mornings — my snooze button drives Nikki mad — so I’m spending time with friends’ kids to get practice in.”

“My older kids are here all the time,” replied Sixx, “more than one [child with Bingham] and I’d have to buy a bigger house!”

“I’m a hands-on dad,” continued Sixx. “The baby will wear black diapers with skulls on them.” Although Bingham obviously disagreed with that idea by saying, “We’re having a girl, so I don’t think so. Since I’m only going to have one, I feel like I need to have a duaghter.”

After a three year romance Sixx and Bingham were married on March 15, 2014 at Greystone Mansion in Los Angeles. Sixx was previously married to Playboy Playmates Brandi Brandt and Donna D’Errico.

“He is such a hands-on dad,” gushed Bingham. “His three other children [with Brandt] — Gunner, storm and Decker — all grew up living with Nikki full time. He took them to school every morning, helped them with homework, packed their lunches daily and continues to do that now with my 14-year-old stepdaughter Frankie. For someone with such a demanding schedule it’s always amazing to me how he manages to be there for his kids so strongly. He is the best father I have ever seen.”

Motley Crue will conclude their two year Final Tour cycle at the end of 2015 on New Year’s Eve, December 31st at Staples Center in their hometown of Los Angeles where the band’s career began 34 years ago.
