November 28, 2010

Ozzy Osbourne has joined Kerrang! Radio’s first ever charity campaign.

The singer, who originates from Birmingham, has become a Patron of Kerrang! Cash for Kids. The charity will raise funds for children across the West Midlands.

“We’re absolutely thrilled that Ozzy is supporting Cash for Kids” said Kerrang! Radio’s Charity Manager Kirsty Lee. “Ozzy is a local hero and a rock legend. To have him on board is just fantastic!”

Donations for Kerrang! Cash for Kids can be made online and via telephone, whilst the Birmingham-based station will be host to a variety of weekly on-air auctions. Listeners will get the chance to meet and greet bands and co-host programmes with their favourite presenters among other auction items.
