OZZY OSBOURNE REVEALS HELICOPTER DEATH FEARS:
March 29, 2009
Sarah Rollo of Digital Spy reports that Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that thoughts of death preoccupied his mind during a recent helicopter trip over the Grand Canyon.
The Black Sabbath rocker’s family arranged the treat so that he could fulfil a lifetime ambition on his 60th birthday.
However, Osbourne told WENN that the journey was marred by the thought that everyone onboard was going to die.
“We get to the Grand Canyon and I’ve got a helicopter and I’m going, ‘Hang about, this is too good to be true. I’m with my wife and this…guy flying helicopters over the Grand Canyon’,” he said.
“I’m thinking, ‘This is it, on my 60th birthday, I’m gonna be found in eight zillion pieces at the bottom’. There was not even a co-pilot. If that thing goes out, you are, like, dead.”
Osbourne recently said that he plans to make two more LPs before bowing out from the music industry.
