Ozzy Osbourne Writing Health Advice Column For Rolling Stone
October 18, 2010
Ozzy Osbourne has extended his medical credentials – he’s now offering health and diet tips and life lessons as a monthly columnist in Rolling Stone magazine.
The rocker hit the headlines earlier this year when he started offering medical advice to Sunday Times readers in the U.K. and now he’s offering American fans the wisdom of his hellraising life in music magazine Rolling Stone’s new Ask Dr. Ozzy column.
In his first piece, published in the new issue of the publication, Osbourne offers tips to a Hawaiian desperate to give up beer and lose weight and a Los Angeles fan who has just found out her teenage son is surfing for pornography online.
Ozzy also weighs in on a Turkish fan’s vertigo issues, suggesting he “go to bed, drink only water, then get up and walk around in circles for a bit. If you’re still dizzy, let me know.”
He adds, “I thought I had vertigo… I went to the doctor, and he said, ‘Mr. Osbourne, the problem – as far as I can tell – is simply that you’re very, very drunk.”
