Poison drummer Rikki Rockett thinking of doing video blog

Poison and Devil City Angels drummer Rikki Rockett is pondering doing a video blog or blog.

The following message was posted on Rockett‘s Facebook page yesterday:

“Yo guys!

So, I’m thinking about doing a Vlog. Most peeps in rock bands do not do this because “it’s risky exposure”, or so they say. Well, damn all that convention! I have had my glamourous days and I’m not worried about that. I’m an open book. (sort of, but not 100%) My question to you is? What shall I Vlog about? Here are some ideas of stuff that I know a little about and could probably talk about: 1. Motorcycles. 2. Techie stuff, (smart phones, drones, cameras, etc.) 3. Music (I’d rather not because it’s my job too.) 4. Jiu-Jitsu and Grappling. (after 18 years I know a thing or two). 5. Being a Dad. (first ask my kids if I’m well versed enough to talk about it!) Anything else?”

Wikipedia states the following about a “vlog” (with slight edits): “A video blog or video log, usually shortened to vlog /vlɒɡ/, is a form of blog for which the medium is video, and is a form of web television. Vlog entries often combine embedded video (or a video link) with supporting text, images, and other metadata. Entries can be recorded in one take or cut into multiple parts. The vlog category is popular on YouTube.

Video logs (vlogs) also often take advantage of web syndication to allow for the distribution of video over the Internet using either the RSS or Atom syndication formats, for automatic aggregation and playback on mobile devices and personal computers (See video podcast).”
