Premiere of Streetlight Circus’ video for new single “Cherry Cola” on Sleaze Roxx

Sleaze Roxx is honoured to premiere New York rockers Streetlight Circus‘ video for their latest single “Cherry Cola” from their album Super Fine Sugar, which was released back on September 23, 2022.

Streetlight Circus‘ press release indicates:

“Escape Music Recording Artist, Streetlight Circus, has released a video for the band’s latest single, “Cherry Cola.” The song is featured on Super Fine Sugar, the third full-length Streetlight Circus album that was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews. “Cherry Cola,” written by singer/bassist David Shaw, boasts a guest appearance by Jon Auer of 90s stalwarts The Posies. Auer sings harmonies on the track.

The video was shot at a theater in New York City using hand-held and drone cameras. It was directed by Brucie Faulkner who was also behind the video for the Super Fine Sugar title track.

Super Fine Sugar is the band’s first with UK-based label, Escape Music. Previously, the band independently released two full-length albums, the self-titled debut (2012) and Needle Down (2016). An EP, The Snake Mountain Sessions, was released in 2013. Super Fine Sugar features guest appearances by Auer as well as by Tony Harnell (TNT), Brian Forsythe (Kix), Berton Averre (The Knack), and Jesper and Jacob Binzer (D-A-D). It was mixed and mastered by Grammy-winning producer Bob St. John.

Streetlight Circus has plans to tour Super Fine Sugar throughout 2023 with many dates having already been announced:
